Our story

Our story at mdi, short for Manufacturers Distributor, Inc., began in 2002 when Sam Arledge founded the company. With locations in Tampa, FL, Louisville, KY, Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, and Phoenix, AZ, we're able to serve customers throughout the nation. As a national distributor of industrial products, we offer everything from compressed air pipe and oil-less air compressors to vacuum pumps and electric motors. We also provide industrial fire fighting equipment, hydraulic winches, hose reels, tube expanders, and pneumatic tools. At mdi, we're passionate about providing the best products and services to our customers.
